Once again this year, TUM ceremonially awarded the Presidential Entrepreneurship Award at its Entrepreneurship Day. The honor went to Munich-based spacetech company Ororatech for its satellite-based early warning system for detecting forest fires.

The Munich spacetech startup Ororatech becomes part of a new platform for space-based reconnaissance in Germany. Together with Reflex Aerospace, Constellr, and Liveeo, the company’s technologies are to be integrated into the ISR architecture built by the joint venture Rheinmetall Iceye Space Solutions.
