Inai acquired by Flyeralarm

Flyeralarm, an online printing company specializing in marketing and print products, is investing in the Munich-based consulting startup Inai. The startup hopes to expand its access to medium-sized companies with growing digital marketing needs.

Flyeralarm acquires a majority stake in Inai. The young consulting agency specializes in providing individual support to small and medium-sized businesses in the field of digital marketing. The startup relies on AI and big data in its offerings. The founders Tim Pascual and Ludwig Schrödl explain the business model:

"Just as Flyeralarm began simplifying and democratizing classic marketing components, from business cards to trade show booths, for small and medium-sized businesses, we help small and medium-sized businesses get started with topics such as content generation, targeting, and performance monitoring and adjustment, so they can then grow with our customers."

Flyeralarm is expanding its own digital portfolio with this strategic investment. CFO Falk Pewestorf commented:

"Our mission is to support small and medium-sized businesses in particular in positioning themselves professionally and successfully in the market. Inai shares this philosophy and has successfully implemented it in its development as an agency over the past few years. With this investment, Flyeralarm gains access to personalized digital consulting for SME clients. Furthermore, we can expand our services through mediation and possible integration into our own product range."

The consulting startup also sees the takeover an important catalyst such as managing director Kevin Kößler emphasizes:

"Flyeralarm started with one man in 2002 and now employs more than 2,500 people. So, we have a partner behind us who has already mapped out the path and followed it – and from whom we can learn a great deal."

Inai's service package primarily includes consulting and support for social media posts, Google optimization, and social media campaigns. Software and standardization are at the heart of the agency. With the help of algorithms, deep learning, and artificial intelligence, processes are simplified and automated, monitoring and automatically adjusting ad performance up to 1,440 times a day.
