Solation makes tenant electricity uncomplicated: The concept of tenant electricity is about delivering electricity generated on the roof of a residential building or in its immediate vicinity directly to the tenants of the building. This way, locally generated electricity from renewable sources is to be used directly on-site, which should not only decentralize the power grid. Tenant electricity is also intended to be an incentive for landlords to install solar systems on the roofs of their buildings. However, high administrative barriers make this difficult. The startup Solation has developed solutions for this – and at the same time links tenant electricity with social engagement.
