This year, for the second time, the Next Economy Award will honor startups active in various sustainability areas. These include areas such as education, healthcare, digital transformation, clean energy, and resource conservation. This year's Next Economy Award will also consider the best social entrepreneurial ideas.
Tailwind for “green founders”
The prize was awarded by the German Sustainability Award Foundations in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, dem Council for Sustainable Development and the DIHK The intention behind this is to give "green founders" a boost and to support startups that want to help shape the transition to the "next," more sustainable economy.
Apply now for the Next Economy Award
Any company or organization founded in Germany in the last five years is eligible to apply. Social enterprises and non-profit startups of any legal form are also particularly encouraged to participate. They will receive greater consideration than before and additional recognition. The application deadline is the end of June. The awards ceremony will then take place at the end of November.
