Group.one takes over Shore

Munich-based SaaS provider Shore is being acquired by Swedish website service provider Group.one. Founded in 2012, Shore offers digitalization solutions such as online appointment booking and mobile POS systems for service providers, tradespeople, and other medium-sized businesses.

By taking over Shore The product range of Group.one be expanded to include three new key areas: the ability to book online appointments, communication with customers who have booked an appointment, and point-of-sale payments.

Focus on the essentials

Daniel Hagemeier, CEO of Group.one, commented on the acquisition:

"We are excited to welcome Shore to the Group.one family. Scheduling client appointments and accepting payments is critical for businesses across many industries, including health & wellness, hospitality, and sports & leisure. Our commitment to an intuitive and integrated digital business experience allows our clients to focus on what they do best: managing and growing their business."

Customers of all Group.one brands will soon benefit from the new products, as the planning features will be integrated into the group-wide Website Builder. Shore will also become a key component of Group.one's "Do It For Me" website creation and management service.

In addition, online payments will be launched in 2025 to complete a robust SaaS ecosystem designed to guide and support customers throughout their digital journey, from establishing an online presence to managing and growing their business. Nikbin Rohany, CEO of Shore, added:

The merger will allow us to further invest in our core products for the benefit of our existing customers and partners, while leveraging Group.one's reach to serve a larger audience across Europe.
