Online shopping is booming! Yet many customers would prefer not to have to deal with the sometimes complicated return process. This is precisely where the Munich startup tiramizoo comes in with its pickup service – and is currently on the road to success.
With the online shopping giant Zalando, the pick-up service provider tiramizoo to win a major customer. The tiramizoo service, which was launched by the founders Michael Löhr, Volker Schneider and TUM alumnus Philipp Walz, offers a Same-day delivery and daily collection of returns directly from customers. This happens during a time when most working people can usually be at home, namely between 7 and 9 p.m.
The service is now available in 16 cities. Berliners are especially pleased: Monday to Saturday, between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m., they can even count on a pickup within the next 90 minutes. One of the founders, Philipp Walz, says:
Online retailers couldn't get closer to their customers faster or more closely. The convenient returns option via the tiramizoo system is a perfect tool for building and expanding loyal customer relationships with key target groups.
Continuing on the road to success
After its founding in 2011, tiramizoo quickly attracted investors such as Daimler and DPD. The Media-Saturn Group now also uses the tiramizoo service. For the Munich-based startup, this represents an important step toward internationalization.
