The ten-week Xplore Venture Creator program of the UnternehmerTUM provides comprehensive support to early-stage startups in building their businesses. It accompanies the process from sharpening their profile to successful market entry. Professional coaches and an experienced mentor network provide valuable guidance and support. The program helps startups develop an agile business model that responds flexibly to market needs and creates competitive advantages. It also enables the creation of a minimum viable product (MVP) in hardware and software to validate the offering. Another goal is to build a strong core team with the right attitude and leadership skills for long-term success. Startups learn to realistically assess their market opportunities, define target markets, and identify an ideal niche.
Who is Xplore Venture Creator aimed at?
Startups that
- are in the early stages of founding,
- have a technology-based business idea,
- want to achieve a problem-solution fit,
- want to understand their customers,
- want to define a roadmap for their business.
The program is not suitable for solopreneurs. The general admission criteria require a founding team of at least two people working on the company. However, matchmaking offers the opportunity to connect with talented individuals who could expand the team.
This is how the program works
XPLORE Venture Creator requires a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week. This includes:
- Nine hours of live training with top-class experts and coaches.
- Two to three hours of preparation work.
- Individual coaching and team follow-ups for personal support.
The program is divided into three sequential phases. During the pre-bootcamp phase, team members can participate in rotation as needed to ensure all information is aligned. During the bootcamp phase, full participation from all team members is required. This is the core phase, in which the business venture is advanced with the support of experts and coaches. During the validation phase, team rotation is again possible.
