German Startup Monitor #4: As in previous years, an online survey on startups and founder-friendly conditions in Germany will be conducted again this year: the German Startup Monitor (DSM)!
Founders and management members of German startups can now participate in the survey and draw attention to themselves, their region, and their concerns. Participants can then win great prizes, such as a wildcard for the German Valley Week from Federal Association of German Startups (BVDS) or tax and legal advice from KPMG.
German Startup Monitor: Insights for policymakers
The DSM is an annual initiative of the BVDS (German Association of German Startups) in a long-standing partnership with KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. Following data collection, the data is evaluated and documented by Prof. Dr. Tobias Kollmann and Dr. Christoph Stöckmann of the University of Duisburg-Essen. All data sets are processed anonymously, so no conclusions can be drawn about the information provided by individual individuals. The data will be used to determine the potential and importance of startups in Germany and to develop policy recommendations.
With the DSM, the BVDS has been ensuring transparency and improvements in the German startup ecosystem for three years now.
