Are you planning a food project or a startup that offers the world a different kind of taste or style? A specialty that aims to have a future thanks to a new production method, recipe, or presentation format? Do you want to publicize and implement your idea and need help getting started?
Then apply now until 09.06.2016 for “My Specialty” – the "Food Industry" Crowdfunding Award! Whether it's a food truck, microbrewery, product innovation, gastronomy concept, agricultural project, manufacturing, breeding, or anything else, all ideas related to food and wanting to launch a crowdfunding project on Startnext are welcome.
24,000 euros co-financing
“Die Lebensmittelwirtschaft” supports the selected food entrepreneurs in preparing their Startnext campaign with workshops and webinars and awards a Prize money totaling 24,000 euros.
The six-week funding phase for all projects begins on August 1, 2016. The projects that receive the most crowdfunding supporters will receive prize money as an award:
- Places 1-2: 5,000 euros each
- Places 3-5: 2,000 euros each
- Places 6-8: 1,000 euros each
- Special Jury Prize: 5,000 euros

The jury
Experienced judges from the food industry will select the best projects from the applications and decide who will be eligible to participate in the crowdfunding contest. The participants will be announced on June 15, 2016. The jury consists of the following members:

- Markus Sauerhammer, Head of Cooperations at Startnext
