The Strascheg Award is the Munich University of Applied Sciences’ ideas competition and is awarded in three categories for innovative business ideas. Ideas, projects and scientific work that are driven by entrepreneurial motivation are eligible to apply.
Who is eligible to participate in the Strascheg Award competition?
The circle of participants is limited, as only applicants who come from the Munich University of Applied Sciences environment or who have SCE: This includes students, alumni, professors, lecturers, research assistants, and employees of the Munich University of Applied Sciences. Students and alumni from other universities who have participated in SCE qualification programs and events are also eligible to apply for the award.
What can you win in the ideas competition?
The award is accompanied by a Prize money totaling 30,000 euros The first- to third-place ideas in each of the three categories will receive €5,000, €3,000, and €2,000, respectively. In addition, all winning projects can take advantage of six months of free support and consulting from the SCE Start-up Funding program to ensure the sustainable implementation of their projects.
The application deadline is July 31, 2016, at 11:59 p.m.
