On Saturday, October 18, Munich will once again become a stage for night owls and museum enthusiasts. Over 100 museums will open their doors for "The Long Night of Munich Museums." And this year, too, hands-on technological innovations will be on hand. Under the motto "Startups Belong in Museums!", the Munich Innovation Ecosystem and Munich Startup will present 13 AI programs and startups at the State Museum of Egyptian Art. Visitors can try out interactive applications and experience how artificial intelligence is shaping art, culture, and our everyday lives.
Among the exhibiting startups, selected teams from the AI Nation prototype development program will demonstrate how young companies with social relevance are actively shaping the development of AI. The goal of the event is to bring technology and culture together – and to illustrate how innovation opens up new perspectives.

Innovation for all: Munich thinks about the future
"Startups Belong in Museums!" aims to strengthen society's openness to innovation, in keeping with the 2030 Innovation Agenda. Munich aims to foster a vibrant culture of innovation through open spaces and platforms for exchange, experimentation, and collaboration, in which citizens, startups, academia, and businesses work together to develop solutions to global and local challenges. Whether experimenting with AI tools or discovering new art forms, this night demonstrates that the future begins in the museum.
