The Munich startup Finn, a provider of car subscriptions, opened its first pickup station in its home city of Munich in October 2025 under the name "Finn Station." Together with its partner Vepa Vertical Parking, Finn is offering a personal pickup option for customers for the first time. The location in Munich's Werksviertel district complements the existing delivery service model, which brings vehicles directly to the customer's door.
With the new station, Finn aims to make the customer experience more flexible and personalized.
Tim Meyding, Senior Vice President Operations at Finn, commented:
"With the 'Finn Station' pilot project, we are continuing to consistently align our car subscription experience with the needs of our customers. They can decide for themselves whether they want the vehicle delivered to their door or whether they prefer to pick it up directly from the location. While we are gaining valuable experience with the pilot project every day, we are already planning for scaling and additional locations."
The concept will offer users the choice between the familiar door-to-door delivery and self-pickup. The location in the Werksviertel district serves as a model for other planned pickup locations throughout Germany. Finn leverages its partnership with Vepa Vertical Parking to optimize space requirements and processes. The partner's parking tower enables space-saving vehicle storage and fast on-site handover.
Expansion throughout Germany planned
Following the successful launch of the first Finn Station in September, the company plans to gradually roll out the concept. Depending on the response, the startup plans to expand its new model to additional cities in the coming months and aims to grow to over 40,000 active car subscriptions by the end of 2025. To meet the growing demand, the team is increasingly relying on additional pick-up stations to complement the existing service.
