The Defencetech Tytan Technologies is driving the development of modern air defense systems. Together with Dedrone by Axon, the company is working on an end-to-end solution that can effectively detect, track, and defend against unmanned aerial vehicle threats.
Cooperation with Dedrone
The collaboration with Dedrone by Axon combines AI-powered sensor fusion with Tytan interceptor systems to create a software-based, scalable, and autonomous air defense network that can rapidly respond to airborne threats. Aaditya Devarakonda, CEO of Dedrone by Axon, explains:
“This alliance enables us to offer our customers a seamless CUAS platform that covers Group 1 to Group 3 threats.”
Tytan co-founder and CEO Balazs Nagy says:
"Together, Dedrone and Tytan are not only responding to new threats, but are also helping NATO and its partners build a network that will define the future of air defense."
Bundeswehr order for Tytan
In parallel, Tytan is developing a drone defense solution for Bundeswehr facilities together with the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). The project is being supported by the Bundeswehr Innovation Laboratory in Erding. The goal is a system that protects critical infrastructure through a combination of sensors, effectors, and command and control components (C4 technologies).
The Startup The company is contributing its AI-supported interceptor drones, which have already been successfully tested under operational conditions at home and abroad. The development is intended to cost-effectively close a capability gap in the defense against unmanned threats. A system demonstration is planned for the coming months.
