Munich Founders' Prize 2025 goes to InGemeinschaft and Edurino

The Stadtsparkasse München has honored the winners of the Munich Founders' Prize 2025: InGemeinschaft wins in the "Startup" category, and Edurino receives the "Rising Star" award.

The Stadtsparkasse München has been honoring outstanding young companies with the Munich Founders’ Award since 1997. In 2025, for the second time in a row, two Price categories The Audience Award in the “Startup” category was won by InCommunity The company offers a digital platform that facilitates intergenerational living. This allows people of different age groups to come together, live communally, and benefit from one another.

With its idea, the team not only convinced the jury, which selected the finalists, but also the public in the subsequent online voting. Co-founder Andre Schmöller emphasizes:

In the “Rising Stars” category, where the jury alone selected the winner, Edurino The edtech company is developing a learning app that enables playful learning for children. Using interactive characters and digital content, the startup combines analog and digital education—an approach that has already won over many educational institutions.

Co-founder Irene Klemm explained:

"Edurino was born in Munich, starting with the initial idea and the first prototypes, and that's precisely why the Munich Founders' Award feels so special. Thanks to our team, our community, and the Munich startup scene for their support. The award motivates us to further scale Edurino and reach families across Europe from here."

The winning startups of the Munich Founders' Award can look forward to a wide range of support. In addition to media attention through TV reports and podcast episodes, they receive a day of consulting with a business angel for organizational development and sales.
