Parkhelp has acquired the Munich-based technology company Cleverciti Systems GmbH. Startup is specialized in AI-powered parking data collection and intelligent parking management software. The aim of the acquisition is to develop a shared, cloud-based platform for parking management.
A unified platform for all parking areas
“Cleverciti brings first-class AI applications, software solutions and sensor technology to the Parkhelp group. Together we are the only provider worldwide that can manage all parking areas – whether on the street, in parking garages or in other outdoor areas – from a unified, cloud-based platform.”
leads Poojitha Preena, CEO of Parkhelp, from.
Cleverciti-Solutions According to the company, these parking sensors are already in use in over 100 municipalities worldwide. They are designed to help reduce traffic congestion and make monitoring more efficient. The overhead sensors detect occupancy in real time, while multifunctional LED signs guide drivers to available spaces. These technologies complement Parkhelp's existing indoor parking systems.
The integration of both platforms will enable customers to manage parking spaces on streets, in parking garages, and in open areas in real time. They will also benefit from intelligent navigation, efficient traffic monitoring, and comprehensive analytics to optimize occupancy and sustainability.
Growth and continuity
“For years, operators have had to piece together fragmented parking solutions and their data. With our unified portal, they now have a single, reliable source for all parking data, from occupancy and payment to parking violations.”
says David Parker, CEO of Cleverciti.
Parkhelp has been active in the market for over 20 years and operates in six countries. With over 600,000 monitored parking spaces at 700 locations in 50 countries, the company continues to grow. Cleverciti will remain a wholly owned subsidiary, including its entire team. Customers will continue to receive uninterrupted service.
The integration of the systems is already underway. Parkhelp also plans to enter into further partnerships and acquisitions to expand its technology and global presence.
