Eventpage AI raises 320,000 euros

Munich-based AI startup Eventpage AI has secured €320,000 in a pre-seed funding round. The founders plan to use the capital to expand their automated event planning platform and solidify their market leadership in German-speaking countries.

Munich-based startup Eventpage AI, founded in 2024, has secured €320,000 in a pre-seed funding round. Investors include the pre-seed accelerator Campus Founders Ventures and D11Z Ventures, an early-stage investor focused on digital and AI-based business models. Eventpage AI plans to use the new capital to scale its event planning services and expand its market position in German-speaking countries.

Founded by Lasse Schmitt and Julian Wendorf, the company aims to fundamentally simplify event planning using AI. Their goal: to make organizing events as intuitive and accessible as designing with Canva. Personalized event pages can be created on the platform based on a short briefing. Eventpage AI combines features of well-known tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and Mailchimp, allowing users to centrally manage invitations, communication, and promotion.

Lasse Schmitt, Co-Founder of Eventpage AI, explains:

"This investment brings us closer to our vision of making event organization as easy and accessible as Canva has made it for design."

The investors are also convinced. Carsten Hansch, Investment Manager at D11Z, says:

“Our investment in Eventpage AI is an investment in the future of event planning. The team has the potential to set completely new standards with AI.”

Since its soft launch in July 2024, Eventpage AI has grown rapidly. Within the first six months, the startup reportedly achieved six-figure revenues. Early clients include companies such as Mizuno Corporation, Munich Innovation Ecosystem, and EHF Marketing (European Handball Federation). Close collaboration with these partners has allowed the team to gather valuable feedback for the further development of the tool.

Furthermore, Eventpage AI has been accepted into the "AI Founders" accelerator program of Campus Founders in Heilbronn. This program is aimed at up-and-coming startups in the field of artificial intelligence and is designed to specifically promote their growth.

Founders Schmitt and Wendorf bring many years of experience from the event and marketing industry. Together, they founded the agency B2M Creative in 2016, which specializes in sports and lifestyle communication.
