The Munich startup Eventpage AI, founded in 2024, has secured 320,000 euros in a pre-seed funding round. Investors include the pre-seed accelerator Campus Founders Ventures and D11Z Ventures, an early-stage investor focused on digital and AI-based business models. With the fresh capital, Eventpage AI plans to scale its event planning offerings and expand its market position in the German-speaking region.

Founded by Lasse Schmitt and Julian Wendorf, the company aims to fundamentally simplify event planning with AI. Their goal: organizing events should become as intuitive and accessible as designing with Canva. Through the platform, personalized event pages can be created based on a brief. Eventpage AI combines features of well-known tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and Mailchimp, allowing users to manage invitations, communication, and promotion centrally.

Lasse Schmitt, co-founder of Eventpage AI, explains:

“With this investment, we’re getting closer to our vision of making event organization as simple and accessible as Canva has done for design.”

The investors are also convinced. Carsten Hansch, investment manager at D11Z, says:

“Our investment in Eventpage AI is an investment in the future of event planning. The team has the potential to set entirely new standards with AI.”

Since its soft launch in July 2024, Eventpage AI has grown rapidly. According to the company’s own statements, the startup achieved six-figure revenue in its first half year after launch. Early customers include companies such as Mizuno Corporation, Munich Innovation Ecosystem, and EHF Marketing (European Handball Federation). Through close collaboration with these partners, the team gathered feedback for further tool development.

Additionally, Eventpage AI has been accepted into the “AI Founders” accelerator program of Campus Founders in Heilbronn. The program is aimed at emerging startups in the field of artificial intelligence and is designed to promote their growth strategically.

Founders Schmitt and Wendorf bring years of experience from the event and marketing industries. Together, they founded the agency B2M Creative in 2016, which specializes in sports and lifestyle communication.
