Third round until May 15: The pre-start-up funding program “m4 Award – Pre-Seed Competition for Personalized Medicine” is aimed at potential spin-offs of innovative academic or clinical projects in the field of modern biomedicine in Bavaria. The winning projects will receive around 250,000 euros per year over a period of 2 years. In addition, the funded projects receive a comprehensive project support.
Two-stage competition
The competition is divided into two stages: four-page project outlines can be submitted until May 15, 2015. If a recommendation to submit an application has been made, a 15-page proposal can be submitted until September 18, 2015.
The m4 Award was launched in 2010 as part of the successful Munich Excellence Cluster initiative "m4 – Personalized Medicine and Targeted Therapies" by BioM and Munich's technology transfer organizations in the life sciences sector.
