Flix: Buses are now rolling through Australia

Munich-based travel tech company on a growth trajectory: Flix is launching in Australia, expanding its routes in Latin America, and relying on a business model that opens up new markets and promotes sustainable long-distance travel.

Flix continues its global expansion with the launch of its long-distance bus service in Australia. This brings the company's presence to 45 countries across five continents. In Australia, the buses will initially connect Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney along one of the country's busiest routes. The network is expected to expand to include additional cities in the coming months. 

At the same time, Flix is expanding in Latin America: Bus services will start in Peru this winter. Mexico Since its launch in May 2025, Flix has more than doubled its capacity. In both Latin America and Australia, it uses an asset-light business model based on partnerships with local bus companies.
