Quantum Systems has announced one of the most remarkable funding rounds of the year: The company has tripled its valuation and secured a total of €340 million in fresh capital. €180 million comes from a Series C extension led by Balderton Capital, following a €160 million funding round in May. This brings the valuation to over €3 billion.
With this capital, Quantum Systems is driving its expansion into air, land, and water applications. The team develops AI, software, and hardware solutions that feature a Multi-domain mission software are interconnected. The company is thus growing in a market that is gaining importance due to geopolitical tensions and changing security priorities.
Expansion of technology and new acquisitions
Already after the first Series C tranche Quantum Systems has made acquisitions such as Airrobot, Nordic Unmanned and Spleenlab The financing round has been completed. The new capital will enable further strategic acquisitions that will strengthen the multi-domain offering. Co-CEOs Florian Seibel and Sven Kruck emphasize how crucial these steps are for the Munich-based startup's international positioning.
Seibel says:

Quantum Systems' systems are used by NATO forces in Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and especially in Ukraine. A large fleet of the company's aircraft has been operating there since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022.
