Moonscale raises fresh capital

Moonscale (formerly VidLab7), following its rebranding, is strengthening its mission to make sales processes autonomous and scalable using AI avatars. The startup has received €3.5 million in funding and support from the AWS Generative AI Accelerator.

Moonscale – formerly known as VidLab7 The company, formerly known as [Company Name], is rebranding and focusing on building a new category in the global go-to-market landscape. The founders are combining technological advancements, a new brand identity, and a significant capital injection to achieve this. EQT Ventures is leading a €3.5 million funding round, and the startup is also receiving €855,000 ($1 million) in AWS credits through the AWS Generative AI Accelerator. According to the company, this support will provide the foundation for a rapid rollout of the platform in European and US enterprise markets.

At the heart of the technology is the “Digital Sales Human”Moonscale offers a foundational interactive AI avatar model that fully covers sales processes. The avatars generate inbound leads, pitch products, conduct interactive demos, and support cross-selling activities. Companies are expected to increase their conversion rate by up to five times while simultaneously reducing their operating costs. Moonscale thus creates an approach designed to relieve the burden on sales teams and enable data-driven scaling.

“Our goal is to create a completely new category in revenue automation that will revolutionize the global market. The era of manual sales is over. We deliberately founded our company in Europe to build a global flagship in AI-GTM technology. Our technology enables CMOs, CROs, and revenue leaders to transform their inbound pipeline into an autonomous revenue engine.”

says Fabian Beringer, CEO and Founder of Moonscale.

From the demonstration gap to the autonomous pipeline

Already operating under the name VidLab7, the Munich-based team focused on automating sales demos. Their approach: Website visitors immediately receive an interactive product demo that qualifies leads, prompts follow-up, and books appointments. A real-time avatar accompanies the entire process. This allows companies to close the "demo gap"—the problem of many potential customers abandoning the project before even experiencing a product.

The transition to Moonscale expands this approach into a comprehensive revenue automation platform. Target groups such as SaaS, FinTech, and insurance companies can use the technology to scale leads in a structured way and generate predictable revenue. The startup states that it is already working with enterprise customers in Europe and the US and is refining its strategic direction with experienced industry advisors.
