SCE Incubation 2026: Apply now!

Until January 25, 2026, aspiring founders can apply for the free SCE Incubation program at Munich University of Applied Sciences. The program supports startups in the pre-founding phase with coaching, infrastructure, and funding advice worth over €30,000.

Founders and Munich-based startup teams can apply for the SCE Incubation funding program of the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) at Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) until January 25, 2026. SCE The incubation program combines start-up support, network building and further education, tailored to start-ups in the pre-founding or early founding phase.

Participation is open to everyone, regardless of education or professional situation. International founders are also welcome, as the program content is offered bilingually in German and English.

From idea to market-ready product

During the four-month funding period from April to July 2026, the SCE will support participants on their path to founding their companies, offering practical assistance and direct access to experts from the startup scene. Founders will benefit from, among other things:

  • Coaching and workshops on topics such as business model development, pitching and financing,
  • Workplaces and infrastructure at the SCE Innovation Hub,
  • Prototype funding for the construction of MVPs or demonstrators,
  • Funding check and support with applications for programs such as EXIST, EXIST-Women, FLÜGGE or AI+Munich,
  • Community and network access to mentors, investors and other startups.

Who can apply?

The SCE Incubation is aimed at founders who have already conducted initial idea validation, for example through customer interviews or prototype testing, and can demonstrate at least 30 potential customers. A further requirement for participation is that at least one team member can be present in Munich during the program and invest approximately 10 hours per week in the project.

The application process is structured in two stages:

  1. Online application including questionnaire, pitch deck and CVs of the founders.
  2. Interview or workshop phase (Customer Discovery Challenge) for selected teams followed by an online pitch.

The screening phase starts in February, the summer batch in April 2026. The SCE offers a special extra for female founders: In the summer batch, participation in the EXIST Women funding program is also possible.

Participants can also enroll in the Startup Certificate program at Munich University of Applied Sciences and benefit from the close connection between research, entrepreneurship and practice.

Interested parties can find more information and the application form online at www.sce.de/incubation.
