Spacefounders launches Batch 7

Spacefounders is still accepting applications for its 7th batch until March 10, 2026. The program is aimed at founders between seed and Series A funding with a strong go-to-market focus. Bootcamps, mentoring, and access to investors are included.

Spacefounders is launching its call for applications for Batch 7 in 2026. The partnership between the French space agency CNES, the Italian space agency ASI and the Bundeswehr University Munich brings together pioneers from the private and public sectors who are shaping the future of space travel.

The Accelerator program Spacefounders is aimed at European space startups between the seed and Series A stages. Founders with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4-5 or higher who are preparing for their next funding round are eligible to apply. Spacefounders welcomes all thematic connections to the space industry, from upstream to downstream. Dual-use models are also expressly encouraged. Applicants must have their headquarters in an EU member state, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and a marketable product with initial (pilot) customers.

Strong investor and industry focus

Spacefounders positions itself as a European, institutionally anchored accelerator with an active presence in Germany, France, and Italy. The initiators pool their networks and create direct access to key players in the space ecosystem.

The program places a clear emphasis on go-to-market, fundraising readiness, and strategic positioning. As an investor-focused initiative, Spacefounders supports founders in aligning their growth strategy with capital market expectations. At the same time, participants benefit from a select, high-quality cohort and long-term alumni access.

Bootcamps, mentoring and community

Several intensive bootcamp weeks form the core of the program. In face-to-face workshops, founders from all over Europe work together on their business models, establish valuable contacts, and gain practical experience.

Weekly online sessions with renowned industry experts provide additional insights into technology, business, and aerospace topics. In addition, participants receive individual mentoring from experienced industry experts. Networking events with investors, mentors, and industry representatives expand the network and open up new growth opportunities.

Those interested can find further information and the opportunity to apply on the Spacefounders website. The application deadline is March 10, 2026.
