Holidu acquires another holiday home portal

Holidu is acquiring the holiday home portal Bestfewo.de, thereby strengthening its presence in the German market. With this integration, the Munich-based company expands its reach. However, Holidu is integrating the platform into its own software system. Hosts will now manage their rentals via Holidu's property management software. The offerings for travelers are also changing: Bestfewo.de will remain as a booking platform. Through its integration with the Holidu marketplace, the portfolio will grow by several million accommodations. Holidu will handle payment processing and manage the entire booking process.

Growth strategy through acquisitions

Bestfewo GmbH will remain an independent company and will focus in the future on the technical and sales integration of vacation rentals with travel agencies. There will be no corporate merger.

With this transaction, Holidu continues its growth strategy. Previously, the company acquired, among others... ferienwohnungen.de as well as gites.fr in France. Holidu sees itself as an active consolidator in the fragmented European market.

Siebers explains:

According to its own statements, Holidu currently manages nearly 60,000 vacation homes and apartments via its proprietary software solution. The revenue generated through this is said to now account for more than 70 percent of total revenue.
