From July 9th to 19th, 2026, Königsplatz will once again be transformed into one of the most popular summer locations Munich. At the Kinoliebe Open Air, cinema, culture and festival atmosphere meet thousands of visitors in the heart of the city.
Munich Startup aims to give ambitious B2C startups the opportunity to present their products and brands to a broad audience and engage directly with potential customers. The festival offers the perfect platform to gain visibility, reach new target groups, and bring the brand to life.
Retail space for startups right in the middle of Königsplatz
Over eleven event days, up to 4,000 guests visit the open-air event at Königsplatz each day. Munich Startup provides a presentation and sales area of approximately nine square meters during this time. Alternatively, the space can be used individually – for example, with a small truck, mobile showroom, or your own exhibition setup. Electricity is provided by the organizer.

- Approximately 3 x 3 meter presentation area or individual exhibition space
- Power supply provided by the organizer
- Visibility within the framework of the Kinoliebe Open Air Festival
- a spot on the Kinoliebe LED stage on July 16, 2026 – and with the pitch victory, a direct place in the finals of the Munich Startup Award at the Munich Startup Festival including a chance to win €10,000 in prize money
Important: Equipment such as tent, stand, branding or decoration must be organized and brought along independently.
Who can apply
Startups from Munich that have already been on [unclear] are eligible to participate. munich-startup.de/startups You should be listed or register there quickly. Furthermore, you should already be generating initial revenue with your product or service. Traditional food and drink stands are excluded.
The application deadline is June 5, 2026. A startup will then be selected and notified directly.
