PERSONIO receives 2.1 million euros seed investment

The Munich-based startup PERSONIO, which has so far been completely self-financed, has raised a substantial sum in its first round of financing: Global Founders Capital, Picus Capital, the founders of Stylight, and other individual business angels are investing over two million euros in the startup.

PERSONIO is a SaaS solution that combines functions to support all HR tasks in a single platform. This includes the consistent management of master data, documents, attendance, absences, and salaries, as well as a complete recruiting solution including the organization of on- and offboarding processes. The new capital will primarily be used to expand the support and development teams to maintain service quality in light of the upcoming scaling. The investment will also be used to build sales activities.

PERSONIO's existing customers include both young technology companies such as Thermondo, orderbird and Service Partner One as well as established companies such as FischerAppelt, Pixum and the EQS Group.

CEO and co-founder Hanno Renner says about the financing:

"We are very pleased about the trust shown by renowned investors. We will invest the new funds in expanding our internal structures and actively selling our HR solution, while maintaining our focus on the service quality valued by our customers."

PERSONIO was founded by Hanno Renner, Roman Schumacher, Ignaz Forstmeier and Arseniy Vershinin with initial support from Nino Ulsamer. The founders met on Center for Digital Technology & Management (CDTM) in Munich, which has already produced successful startups such as eGym, Freeletics or Stylight.
