Venture capitalists pitch to startups
Organized by startups for startups, the 6th Venture Wiesn will take place a good two weeks before the official start of the Oktoberfest season. Directly above the Theresienwiese, in the Wirtshaus am Bavaria Park, investors will pitch to founders. In the elevator pitch, they must prove they have mastered this discipline as well. Startups typically pitch their ideas to VCs to win over investors. At the Venture Wiesn, the organizers are turning the tables. Here, venture capitalists like Early Bird, Fincite, and Astutia will be put through their paces by founders and startups.
Most popular discipline: Financing
The goal: to lighten the otherwise very serious encounters between investors and founders. The implementation: Thematic Variaions of competitions such as the financing challenge ensure considerable hilarity among the audience year after year. The positive effect: people already know each other at the negotiating table.
