Quantum Systems has completed a Series D funding round of one billion euros (1.2 billion dollars). In a press release, the drone manufacturer puts the new post-money valuation at approximately seven billion euros (eight billion dollars). Blackstone, Noteus, Airbus, and Advent are leading the round jointly. Additionally, Bond, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Wellington Management, A.P. Moller Holding, Elephant Lake Ventures, as well as existing investors Balderton and HV Capital are participating.

With this funding, Quantum Systems aims to accelerate the expansion of its networked autonomous systems for air, land, and sea. The company is relying on an interoperable system family that is connected via the mission software Mosaic UXS.

In parallel, Quantum Systems and Airbus Defence and Space are expanding their strategic cooperation. Both companies aim to jointly advance the development of sovereign European defense technologies.

Capital flowing into production and AI

Specifically, Quantum Systems is investing the funds from the funding round in expanding its production capacity, securing supply chains, scaling delivery infrastructure in allied markets, and further developing software and AI.

Florian Seibel, co-CEO and co-founder of Quantum Systems, comments:

“The Future is Unmanned. Defense will increasingly be shaped by autonomous systems that work together in real time across different areas of deployment. With Quantum Systems, we are building a next-generation Neo-Prime that has the potential to fundamentally change defense as we know it today. We are profitable, deployed worldwide, and now have more than 1.2 billion dollars in additional firepower from the latest funding round to consistently execute our strategy.”

And Jonas Jarosch, CFO of Quantum Systems, adds:

“Quantum Systems has built a financial profile that sets new standards in the defense sector: three-digit growth, double-digit profitability, and disciplined execution in scaling.”

According to the company, Quantum Systems’s systems completed more than 19,000 missions in Ukraine alone in 2025. At the same time, the company expanded its production presence in Germany, Ukraine, the United States, Australia, Romania, the United Kingdom, and the Baltic states.

This also convinced investors. Zoé Fabian-Frey, general partner at Noteus, says:

“Quantum Systems stands for the growing strength of the European deeptech and defense ecosystem. The company has demonstrated how software, AI, and operational execution can develop unmanned systems into scalable, sovereign multi-domain capabilities.”
