Datagon AI is working on a software solution for data-driven quality management in industry. The AI integrated into it calculates a customized test strategy for each product. Based on production data, the aim is to increase product quality and reduce warranty costs. The software supports key use cases in industrial quality management and can be integrated into any production process via plug-and-play.

Convinced by this solution, various business angels have now shown their support for the startup’s pre-seed financing. The round included investors such as Bastian Nominacher (founder of Celonis), Mehdi Ghissassi (Director Google Deepmind), Joachim Drees (former CEO of MAN), Frank Lindenberg (former CFO of Mercedes-Benz), Hanno Renner (founder of Personio), Michael Wax (founder of Forto), and Zhaopeng Chen (founder of Agile Robots). The exact amount of money that flowed into the startup’s account is not known.

Nathan Gruber, co-founder and CEO of Datagon AI, says:

“We are very satisfied with our angel round. We were able to convince some of the most competent and prominent angels in the fields of software, industry, and startups of our idea and are now working to make industry fit for the future and more efficient.”

Datagon AI plans to use the fresh capital to further develop its platform and provide the best possible support for existing customers. Additionally, the startup is planning initial steps for expansion into other European markets.
