Voiceline, founded in 2020 by Nicolas Höflinger and Sebastian Pinkas, has developed a solution that allows field staff to capture customer interactions via voice input. An AI analyzes the inputs, recognizes industry-specific jargon and terminology, and converts them into automated follow-up processes. In this way, the startup not only significantly reduces the follow-up time for customer appointments but also ensures complete documentation that provides companies with valuable insights. According to the company, the solution reduces follow-up time, which can take more than 60 minutes per appointment, by up to 80 percent.

Nicolas Höflinger, CEO and co-founder of Voiceline, explains:

“Our conversations with more than 1,000 field staff and their managers uncovered two critical problems: excessive time spent on manual documentation and administrative tasks, as well as incomplete data capture. These problems are not being addressed by the major companies in the industry like Salesforce, Microsoft, or Hubspot. We want to solve this.”

Mid-market companies are already using Voiceline

Voiceline has focused heavily on the field sales operations of mid-market companies in recent years. After intensive testing with around 400 companies, the startup was able to identify its ideal market. Currently, around 25 mid-market customers such as Böllhoff, Hawle, Bohnenkamp, and Schrauben-Jäger, as well as enterprise customers such as Elis Textilmanagement from France, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, or Julius Blum from Austria, are working with the startup. According to its own figures, the company is currently experiencing monthly growth of 50 percent.

Höflinger is confident:

“Sales employees working in the field value personal customer contact. This will not be replicated digitally in the long term. We want to ensure that these employees can focus entirely on delivering the greatest benefit to their company.”
