Munich-based startup Finn, provider of car subscriptions, opened its first pickup station called “Finn Station” in its home city Munich in October 2025. Together with partner Vepa Vertical Parking, Finn is now offering a personal pickup option for customers for the first time. The location in Munich’s Werksviertel complements the existing delivery service model, in which vehicles are brought directly to customers’ homes.

With the new station, Finn aims to make the customer experience more flexible and personalized.

Tim Meyding, Senior Vice President Operations at Finn, comments:

“With the ‘Finn Station’ pilot project, we are consistently aligning our car subscription experience with the needs of our customers. They can decide for themselves whether they want the vehicle delivered to their home or prefer to pick it up on-site. While we are gathering important insights every day with the pilot project, we are already planning the scaling and additional locations in parallel.”

The concept will give users a choice between the familiar home delivery and self-pickup in the future. The Werksviertel location serves as a model for additional planned pickup stations throughout Germany. Finn is cooperating with Vepa Vertical Parking to optimize space requirements and processes. The partner’s parking tower enables space-efficient vehicle storage and quick handover on-site.

Expansion throughout Germany planned

Following the successful launch of the first Finn Station in September, the company plans to roll out the concept gradually. Depending on how it resonates, the startup intends to expand its new model to additional cities in the coming months and aims to grow to over 40,000 active car subscriptions by the end of 2025. To meet growing demand, the team is increasingly focusing on additional pickup stations as a complement to the existing service.

The pilot project in Munich thus marks an important step in the further development of the car subscription business. Through the combination of digital booking experience, flexible vehicle selection, and personal pickup options, Finn aims to further strengthen its position as a leading provider in Germany.
