The TUM spin-off Orcan Energy makes it to the finals in her first participation in the TOP 100 Innovation Competition among the top 10. Since 1993, the TOP 100 Innovator seal has been awarded to medium-sized companies in Germany for their exceptional innovative strength and above-average innovation success.
Over 366 companies applied for this year's "TOP 100." The selection committee was led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Orcan Energy AG received an A+ rating in the "Innovation-Promoting Top Management" category. The company thus immediately made it into the top 10 of this year's TOP 100 innovation competition and was honored by Ranga Yogeshwar.

Orcan develops modules for generating electricity from waste heat from industry, transport and energy production. The company was awarded the Munich Business Plan Competition awarded.
