Hawa Dawa’s air quality monitoring enables real-time measurement and evaluation of air quality across entire regions. The air quality data comes from all available sources, from satellites to ground-based public measurement stations to IoT sensors, and correlates it with use-case-specific data such as traffic. The accuracy of the measurement method meets regulatory requirements, as confirmed by TÜV Süd. The data is available on intuitive dashboards or as an API. Karim Tarraf, CEO and co-founder of the Munich startup, says:
“For the team, this is a great opportunity to continue the air quality management solution we have developed over recent years within Bernard Group. The integration of the Hawa-Dawa solution into Bernard Group marks a new era in which comprehensive environmental solutions can be offered from a single source. The entire team looks forward to working within Bernard Group.”
“With the Hawa-Dawa solution, we are expanding our portfolio with another key element”
Stefan Schwarz, CTO of Bernard Group, adds:
“Bernard Group combines specialized engineering expertise and makes this know-how available to customers in its entirety. We are convinced that the complexity of engineering services requires comprehensive approaches. In addition to functional, technical, and structural requirements, design, economic, and ecological criteria are equally important. With the Hawa-Dawa solution, we are expanding our portfolio with another key element.”
The family-owned company was founded in 1983, is run by the second generation, and employs 500 employees.
