Klarx is committed to advancing digitalization in the construction industry. To achieve this, the startup founded in 2015 has developed a platform for renting construction equipment and machinery. Construction companies can benefit from the advantages of such platforms, including easier search, comparable costs, and verifiable availability. With its own software, the startup also offers rental companies a solution to manage their fleet and accelerate the processing of rental requests.

Klarx plans to use the €11.5 million raised for further growth. This includes both expansion into new countries and broadening the product offering. The long-term goal is to become Europe’s leading platform for construction equipment and machinery rental. The funding comes from Helvetia Venture Fund, Swiss Post Ventures, and Rudi Hilti. Existing investors B&C Innovation Investments and Flixbus founders are also participating.

“Taking Klarx to new heights”

Klarx co-founder Florian Handschuh explains:

“We are very pleased with the investment from Helvetia Venture Fund, Swiss Post Ventures, Rudi Hilti, and our existing investors. This investment will enable us to take Klarx to new heights and continue to revolutionize the construction industry with our technology-driven solutions. We are very grateful to our investors for their support and the trust they place in us.”

The last financing round for the Munich-based startup was some time ago. In summer 2019, the company secured €12.5 million, with B&C Innovation Investments participating alongside Target Global. Currently, the startup operates in Germany and Austria with over 5,000 locations, and customers can choose from over 500,000 construction machines.
