The Viva Technology – or Vivatech for short – in Paris is one of Europe’s largest startup and technology events. Last year, the event welcomed 150,000 visitors on-site – including 11,400 startups – as well as over 400,000 virtual participants. They listened to presentations from more than 450 speakers and learned about 2,800 exhibitors. This year, the trade fair will again include three so-called “Professional Days” for specialist visitors (May 22-24) and one public visiting day (May 25).
For this year’s Vivatech, Munich Startup and Munich Business are assembling a delegation of Munich startups for the first time to visit Vivatech. Delegation participants will have unique opportunities to network and pitch, as well as curated experiences at the trade fair. Additionally, one of the startups will have the opportunity to operate a booth at Vivatech for the duration of the event.
Vive la tech at Vivatech
In total, five startups from the state capital will be part of the delegation. Your package includes a startup ticket for participation in Viva Technology 2024, a travel cost subsidy of up to 600 euros, the opportunity to pitch at the Bayern International booth, and additional activities on-site. Furthermore, one of the five startups will receive their own booth at the Bayern International trade fair stand for the duration of the event, with all associated benefits.
Startups from Munich that are listed on munich-startup.de/startups – or register here quickly – and are already generating initial revenue with their product or service can apply. Additionally, internationalization or attracting international investors should be on the agenda. The application deadline is March 22, 2024.
