Want to take your startup to one of the world's most famous and sought-after startup festivals? Then try your luck!
As in the previous year, a competition will be held for Bavarian startups with the aim of participating in the Startup Accelerator at SXSW (South by Southwest) in Austin. A total of five winners will be chosen, who will receive the following support for the trip to SXSW Interactive can look forward to.
- Reimbursement of the registration fee for the Start-up Accelerator (200 dollars)
- 2 SXSW Interactive conference tickets per startup
- Sleeping space for 2 people per startup in one of the residential buildings that the WERK1 books and looks after
- Return flight for 1 person per startup
At SXSW, the startups not only live in the trendy startup residences, but also participate in panels and pitch competitions in the German Haus.
With a successful pitch to SXSW
A jury will select 15 startups from the email applications that will be admitted to the pitch. The pitch winners will be selected on the day of the pitch event to ensure that the accelerator registration deadline is met.
