Two Munich-based startups, ProGlove and Evo-Connect, have made it to the final round of the EIT Digital Challenge in November. The winners are €50,000 in prize money and access to the EIT Digital innovation network.
The Europe-wide competition honors companies with outstanding digital technologies in five categories. Previous winners include the Munich-based success-Startup Konux the competition.
EIT Digital Challenge Finals in Stockholm and Helsinki with Munich participation
On 21 November Evo-Connect in Stockholm against nine competitors from five European countries in the category Digital Infrastructure The startup is developing secure cloud storage for home and office. Users should be able to install the storage even without IT knowledge, thus retaining control over their data.
The Industry 4.0 startup ProGlove will take part in the final in the category Digital Industry In addition to the Munich-based company, seven other companies from six nations have been nominated. The glove developed by ProGlove automatically records and monitors industrial workflows. Integrated sensors and scanners enable workers in the manufacturing and logistics industries to perform their tasks more easily, quickly, and safely.
