Alongside 26 other cities worldwide, the German edition of the IBM Smart Camps with a focus on IoT startups will take place on November 28th at the IBM Watson IoT Center in Munich.
Startups can not only exchange ideas with experienced mentors and gain valuable tips on pitching, but also present and evaluate their innovative ideas in front of invited guests and a jury. Following this, the top 1-2 companies will be crowned IBM Smartcamp Munich Winners.
IBM Smartcamp winners receive $25,000
This year, IBM Smartcamp has partnered with angel investor and serial entrepreneur Jason Calacanis and his LAUNCH Media organization, who will enable the 10 Smartcamp winners from around the world to attend the LAUNCH Festival in March 2017 and invite them to learn, network, and present their ideas. The IBM Global Entrepreneur of the Year will receive a spot in Calcanis's three-month LAUNCH incubator program and a $25,000 investment.
