Unit4 takes over prevero

Unit4, a leading provider of enterprise applications for the service sector, acquires BayBG partner company prevero AG, a leading software provider of solutions for Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Business Intelligence (BI).

Unit4 and prevero will pursue a joint strategy of offering powerful, industry-specific software solutions. In the future, Unit4 will focus on expanding its service offerings for existing prevero customer segments as well as developing and expanding pre-built content for key Unit4 industries, such as education and services.

prevero tools already support over 4,000 international customers in automating planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as in analyzing business figures. Corporate data is used to generate new and economically relevant information that enables accelerated decision-making processes.

Implementation-strong management team

The two industry-experienced prevero founders, Alexander Springer and Matthias Thurner, have BayBG experienced as an extremely effective management team and a decisive success factor for the above-average company development.

"Back in 2011, BayBG became the first and only institutional investor in prevero. This gave us the opportunity to support the company's strong growth, technological development, internationalization, and the two acquisitions of Winterheller and MIK,"

so Peter Pauli, Managing Director of BayBG.

With BayBG a strong partner at your side

For the two founders, Alexander Springer and Matthias Thurner, it is clear:

"Without BayBG as an investor, the prevero growth story would not have been possible. We perceived BayBG as a reliable partner even during the most challenging phases of growth, and their transaction experience also supported us in the sale process to Unit4, for example, in selecting the right advisors."
