The High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) is investing in the technology company Userlane, among others, together with Commerzbank's main incubator. The technology developed by Userlane guides users through software like a navigation system, enabling people to use software professionally right away without any prior knowledge.
Core of the User lane The technology developed by the company is interactive, step-by-step instructions that can be overlaid on software and guide users through all processes live within the application. Like a navigation system, the user is shown what to click, when, and where. This allows any type of software to be used immediately at a very high level without any prior knowledge.
Userlane scores live and directly
Unlike video tutorials, everything here works live and directly within the software itself. Users receive interactive assistance while they are already working in the respective application. As a result, companies can significantly reduce onboarding and training costs and train software users much more efficiently.
"Userlane makes it possible to create step-by-step instructions within minutes, without additional programming effort and without having to adapt the software to be explained. This allows our customers to use interactive guides in any existing software,"
says Hartmut Hahn, founder and managing director of the Munich startup.
Promising solution for the rapidly growing SaaS market
Niklas Raberg, Investment Manager at HTGF justifies the investment:
"Every company that offers products or services online faces the challenge of communicating the most important features to users in a short time. Especially in light of the rapidly growing SaaS market, Userlane offers a promising solution with interactive guides."
In addition to numerous SaaS and e-commerce providers, international companies also rely on the young company's software to meet the challenges of digitalization, as the Userlane technology enables them to automate and scale software training.
