“Insurance folders are a thing of the past” – that is the motto of treefin, the first digital financial assistant with automatic insurance recognition from current account transactions. The startup's app turns big data into smart data.
A novel algorithm identifies the most important information about the customer's complete financial situation and prepares a precise insurance overview. This not only saves the user money and effort, but also immediately identifies any gaps in coverage after completing the check. The tedious manual listing of all individual insurance policies is eliminated: The user simply has to enter their checking account, and information such as the insurance company is automatically determined from the transaction data. The Munich-based startup's app is a major step ahead of traditional online banking.
An insurance innovation
In addition, it offers customers added-value functions such as an insurance needs check or the display of the current portfolio risk.
treefin is thus the first company in Germany to offer its users an alternative to manually creating the contract overview.
