Off to Israel: Apply for BIPA now!

The Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator supports innovation projects in the field of digitalization and aims to contribute to building sustainable economic relations between Bavaria and Israel. Teams of entrepreneurs from both countries develop customized solutions for companies' challenges.

The program is open to companies from Israel and Bavaria seeking innovative ideas. Motivated students and young professionals interested in starting a business participate in a four-month program consisting of a workshop, a virtual acceleration phase, and a final presentation of the results.

Tailor-made solutions sought

The teams of Bavarian and Israeli participants in the accelerator program work on entrepreneurial issues in innovation-led areas, such as:

  • Industry 4.0
  • Internet of Things
  • Automotive/Smart Mobility
  • Health/MedTech
  • IT security

The acceleration program is designed to enable highly effective teamwork with the help of virtual mentoring and online collaboration tools. Teams work on customized solutions to the challenges posed by their corporate clients using a structured innovation process. Participants are guided and supported by experienced coaches throughout the program.

Application period runs until 15 January

At the end of the program, the companies can implement the developed solutions within the company or as part of their product and service offerings, or continue to collaborate with the team. One option is for the company to become the first customer for the developed solution or to provide seed capital for the potential startup. In this case, the entrepreneurs also have the opportunity to apply to incubators at participating universities to implement their ideas and receive further support.

Online applications for the program have begun. Motivated Israeli and Bavarian students, as well as graduates from technical and business programs, are welcome to apply.
