StartUp Munich – ready for the business plan!

The StartUp Munich event series offers founders information on creating a business plan, shares proven practical tips, and facilitates exchanges with startup experts and like-minded individuals. The five-part series kicks off on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

In addition, founders with a good short concept can apply for the ideas competition until May 5. Participation in the events and the competition is free of charge.

StartUp Munich answers questions about the business plan

On five themed evenings, selected experts will provide answers to the most important questions about the business plan:

What are the components of a BP? How do I optimally align my product or service with my target audience? How do I analyze the market, industry, and competition? How does the customer learn about my offering? What measures do I take to ensure my long-term market success? And how do I create a financial plan?

Insights into founder stories

The practical reports are exciting: Experienced and successful founders share their experiences and give valuable tips. It starts on April 25 with the founders of the Hamburger.

The business model

On May 2 (Stage 1) Klaus Plecher and Dominik Mayer present two very effective methods for successful Development of business models before: EKS (bottleneck-focused strategy) and Lean Startup.

In addition, Felix Gundlack reports from the Munich tech startup Mecuris from his practical experience with Lean Startup (our portrait of Mecuris here).

Finding customers with marketing and sales

At the The second stage on May 9th is all about Marketing and Sales. Emil Hofmann explains how founders find and inspire customers. Afterwards, the startup's founders will present brandemotion First-hand tips on (online) marketing.

What do you need to consider when it comes to financing?

On May 16th, the focus will be on financing. What offers do the savings banks have for founders? What do you have to Financial and liquidity planning How do you prepare for the Bank meeting What is the topic of financing like from the perspective of founders? The Munich startup klarx!

Concluding on May 23 The experienced start-up and business consultant Dr. Uwe Kirst will speak about the success factors for start-ups. And here the winners of the Ideas competition pitch.

Ideas competition: Participation is welcome!

Founders can by 5 May 2017 at the latest Register for the ideas competition. Participation is easy: Send an email with a short concept (max. 2 A4 pages) and contact details to info@startup-muenchen.de and you're in.

The first pitch?

The best ideas will be recognized during the event. If the idea is particularly compelling, the founders will have the opportunity to pitch to a professional audience and potential customers, investors, and partners at the final round on May 23, 2017!
