Startup Teens advertise with unicorn

The platform Startup Teens aims to teach young people entrepreneurial thinking. The initiative is now drawing attention to itself with an online spot.

Startup Teens offers free online training, events, and workshops. The platform is aimed at 14- to 19-year-olds and connects experienced entrepreneurs as mentors. The initiative also hosts what it claims is Germany's most highly endowed business plan competition. The winners in seven categories each receive €10,000 in seed capital for their startup.

A video is now intended to raise awareness of Startup Teens' offering. It features, among others, the founder of the condom startup, known from the Lion's Den unicorn Philip SieferRegarding his motivation to appear in the video, Siefer says:

“Germany has too few young founders like us.”

The founders of the Munich online tutoring platform “TheSimpleClub”, Alex Giesecke and Nico Schork, can be seen in the video. They also want to encourage young entrepreneurs and say:

“That’s why we, as mentors at Startup Teens, help young people turn their dreams into business ideas.”
