JobNinja wants to make job placement as easy as dating on Tinder. Now the software company HR4YOU is investing in the Munich-based company.
HR4YOU is investing in the Munich-based startup and aims to gain a foothold in the app market. This is the first investment by the company, founded in 2000. CEO Konrad Schlebusch announced that he would support the startup in marketing its app, noting that apps will play a greater role in the job market in the future. Mircea Popa, CEO and co-founder of JobNinja, says:
“With its expertise in product and software development, HR4YOU AG is the perfect match for JobNinja’s continued growth.”
Focus on simple jobs
The application process with the JobNinja app begins with job seekers uploading their contact details and a short CV. They then receive personalized offers for positions whose minimum criteria they meet. Users then search for suitable jobs with a swipe gesture and apply directly via smartphone. The app particularly provides simple apprenticeships such as jobs for hostesses, drivers, and waiters. Companies such as McDonald's, ALDI, Academic Work, and 1&1 Internet have already worked with JobNinja, according to the company. The startup was founded by Mircea Popa and Laurent Meyer and has been supported by the start-up funding of the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship supports.
