BioEntrepreneur Boot Camp 2017: Apply now!

The BioEntrepreneur Boot Camp is a four-week intensive program for (prospective) startup teams in the life sciences sector. During this time, you'll work intensively on the detailed development of your business concept and validate the feasibility of your project through expert interviews. Weekly, two-day on-site workshops alternate with off-site expert discussions.

In the on-site workshops, which take place in German or English, you will work together with experts on topics such as: business model design, company structure, business development, intellectual property protection, product development, approval, reimbursement, public funding and start-up competitions, venture capital financing options, company valuation and investor relations.

You'll also learn how to conduct meaningful expert interviews to validate your business idea. In weekly peer-to-peer sessions, you'll receive feedback on the progress of your business concept. Experienced biotech founders and subject matter experts will provide valuable input in presentations and panel discussions. In the concluding pitch training, you'll learn how to structure and present your company presentation convincingly in English.

On the way to the “world of biotech business”

Off-site, you will independently conduct weekly discussions with experts, potential customers, and other stakeholders of your future company to validate your business concept and complete your product development plan. You will incorporate the insights gained into your business concept, present it weekly, and receive feedback. BioM will assist you in connecting with the relevant experts and also offer you networking opportunities: You will be a guest at the BioEntrepreneur Lounge and meet members of the BioM Mentor Circle.

On the last day of the boot camp, the Acceleration Day, you will present your developed business concept to representatives of the biotech community and will be welcomed into the “world of biotech business” with a farewell party.
