The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs exchange program brings together aspiring founders and experienced entrepreneurs from across Europe. Both sides benefit from the mutual exchange of knowledge and experience and open up new European markets for their own businesses.

How both sides can benefit from each other
As New Entrepreneur Through on-the-job training, you'll experience what it takes to run a successful small or medium-sized business. You'll get to know the market in your host country and take on your own projects, such as market research or business development. The knowledge you acquire can accelerate and enrich your own start-up.
As Host Entrepreneur You'll pass on your know-how and experience to a highly motivated young entrepreneur and, in return, be rewarded with new ideas and knowledge about other European market trends—a benefit, especially if you want your company to be successful beyond your own borders. There's no cost to you.

The target group
Aspiring founders from Germany with 1-3 years of start-up experience and experienced entrepreneurs from Germany with 3 years or more of start-up experience.
Length of time
1 to 6 months.
Sequence
1. Online application until 31.03.2017
2. Program admission and access to the intranet with founder profiles
3. Matching and submission of the work plan
4. Collaboration within the host entrepreneur’s company
Cost
Travel and accommodation costs for new entrepreneurs are subsidized by the European Union. Entrepreneurs participating as host entrepreneurs are exempt from these costs.
