FLÜGGE supports university-based startups. The funding program is now entering a new round. Applications are open until April 24.
The Ffunding program for llighter UaboutGang in a GroundeThe "FLÜGGE" (Finance for Innovation and Technology) program of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology has announced a new round of applications. FLÜGGE provides support to young graduates and employees of Bavarian state universities during their startup phase. Individuals and teams are welcome to apply.
The program currently supports ten start-ups, each with the salary of a half-time university position. Participants also receive in-kind support for business coaching and access to university resources. Among the projects currently being funded is the Vokophon. The two founders graduated from Cultural Entrepreneurship Labs at the University of Music and Theatre Munich.
FLÜGGE applications open until April 24
Funding can begin no earlier than October 1, 2017. In the first stage, applicants must submit a project outline by April 24. They then have until May 28, 2017, to complete the application documents. Application details can be found here.
