Only for big names: The European initiative "Startup Europe Comes to Silicon Valley" brings scaleups, long-established startups in the growth stage, to Silicon Valley. Companies can apply starting today.
A total of 15 top startups from Europe will have the opportunity to meet with startups and high-profile players from Silicon Valley in September 2017 as part of the "Startup Europe Comes to Silicon Valley" initiative. The selected startups will pitch to investors and companies. Companies seeking entry into the US market, in particular, should apply by End of May apply.
Who can apply?
There are several requirements to be eligible: Three years ago, an applicant must have already had ten employees. Since then, either revenue, the number of employees, or the number of customers must have grown by at least 20% annually. Applicants should also come from one of the following areas:
- Industry 4.0 – From manufacturing to automation
- Augmented Reality, AR / Virtual Reality, VR
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Privacy and data storage/transfer
