btov Partners invests in Munich-based startup TargetVideo

The venture capital company btov invests a mid-six-figure sum in TargetVideoThe young media company is using the fresh capital to expand its brand portfolio: The online magazine HELLO:PARENTS is aimed at expectant and young parents of the mobile & social media generation. In addition to a new logo, the site was visually and technically redesigned following the acquisition of TargetVideo and filled with specially produced video content.

After launching its own online magazines, the Munich-based startup is taking over Hallo-Eltern.de, an established website that receives around one million monthly visits. The platform will be financed through advertising and the licensing of video content to selected publishing partners who benefit from the portal's high-quality reach. In addition to traditional display and video advertising formats, HALLO:ELTERN also offers customized, content-related integration options in the areas of advertorials, branded entertainment, and native video advertising.
