The Munich-based startup NavVis has apparently completed a financing round. At least, that's what reports startup scene based on a current entry in the commercial register.
NavVis has long been one of the Munich success storiesThe company maps interior spaces and thus competes with renowned competitors, including the global corporation Google. About six months ago, the startup expanded to the other side of the Atlantic and opened an office in New York.
Fresh money from old and new investors
Now the startup has apparently also convinced the VC Digital+ Partners, also from Munich. In the recent past, they have already more often of themselves talkAccording to Gründerszene, existing investors BayBG, the MIG fund, and Target Partners are also on board. Target Partners joined the company in 2015 as part of a Financing round of 7.5 million euros at NavVis. Details of the current financing amount are unknown.
NavVis has developed its own trolley for indoor mapping. The data can then be visualized and used for navigation via a smartphone app. Among other things, the startup has already survey Munich Airport.
